October 14, 2012 Felix Baumgartner
freefalls from 128,000 ft (24 miles).
He breaks the speed of sound by going 834 mph during the dive. Holy crap
Felix! You cetainly are made of 'The Right Stuff''! You are an inspiration
for all of us. Thank You !
Just before he jumped,
Felix said this,
“I know the whole world is watching now. And I
wish the world could see what I can see. Sometimes you have to get up
really high to understand how small you really are. I’m going home
now.” I don't know about you but I equate that with Neil Armstrong's
words right before he touched down on the moon. What an amazing feat,
what an inspiration.
